View Full Version : Problem with virtumonde.dll

Good evening all, I have often frequented this website and recommended it when people have asked me about various problems they are having with pc's though never had to use it myself. Until now! I am hoping that you guys may be able to help me / put my mind at rest.

Over the last two days my pc has become extremely slow, sometimes freezing, and when I run spybot s&d it seems to stick when checking against virtumonde.dll. I am also running Sophos which is picking up no new threats.

Hi All,

Just to follow up on my original post, Spybot has now completed fine, with no threats found.

The freezing etc seems very strange now as there seems to be no obvious cause. Temps all seem fine, RAM seem fine etc.

I will do another complete sophos scan and update with any findings.

Spybot S&D completed with no threats, sophos detected nothing, I would just like a second opinion that all is well if possible.

Thank you Katana for looking at my problem, to be honest things seem to be back to normal (just about), except for a few application freezes from time to time.

I seemed to have a few days of serious problems which have now pretty much stopped. I just don't understand why though!

Please close this topic and I will repost should any problems recur.
