The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "MySideSearch" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
This malware adds itself as an Internet Explorer enhancer, as it is supposed to be. Additionally it hides itself with variable filenames and causes advertising to be displayed.
Removal Instructions:

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$SYSDIR>\<$REGMATCH1>.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\ngaheegcshokt.dll".
The file at "<$LOCALAPPDATA>\Temp\ngaheegcshokt.dll".
A file with an unknown location named "ngaheegcshokt.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\ngaheegcshokt.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\<$REGMATCH1>.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\ojetfgqayvwo.dll".
The file at "<$LOCALAPPDATA>\Temp\ojetfgqayvwo.dll".
A file with an unknown location named "ojetfgqayvwo.dll".
The file at "<$SYSDIR>\ojetfgqayvwo.dll".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If MySideSearch uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "{0237a89f-5674-f540-1054-64ffb43f8b97}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{0237a89f-5674-f540-1054-64ffb43f8b97}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry value "{0237a89f-5674-f540-1054-64ffb43f8b97}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ShellExecuteHooks\".
Remove "<regexpr><$SYSDIR>\\(\S{4,8})\.dll" from registry value "" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0237a89f-5674-f540-1054-64ffb43f8b97}\InprocServer32\".
Remove "ngaheegcshokt.dll" from registry value "AppInit_DLLs" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Windows\".
Remove "<$SYSDIR>\ngaheegcshokt.dll" from registry value "Path" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\IProxyProvider\".
Remove "<$LOCALAPPDATA>\Temp\ngaheegcshokt.dll" from registry value "Path" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\IProxyProvider\".
Delete the registry key "dslcnnct" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\".
Delete the registry key "dslcnnct" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\".
Delete the registry key "ngaheegcshokt" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\".
Delete the registry key "{43e1b5d7-7174-d6b8-b99a-d3268c937554}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{43e1b5d7-7174-d6b8-b99a-d3268c937554}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry value "{43e1b5d7-7174-d6b8-b99a-d3268c937554}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ShellExecuteHooks\".
Remove "<regexpr><$SYSDIR>\\(\S{4,8})\.dll" from registry value "" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{43e1b5d7-7174-d6b8-b99a-d3268c937554}\InprocServer32\".
Remove "ojetfgqayvwo.dll" from registry value "AppInit_DLLs" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Windows\".

Remove "<$LOCALAPPDATA>\Temp\ojetfgqayvwo.dll" from registry value "Path" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\IProxyProvider\".
Delete the registry key "dslcnnct" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\".
Delete the registry key "dslcnnct" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\".
Delete the registry key "ojetfgqayvwo" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\".
