During the immunizetion process, if the immunization item "Global (Hosts)" listed under "System" is checked, Spybot adds entries to the system's HOSTS file. Those entries equate malicious site names (domain names) to the localhost (your system - IP Address 127.0.0.1), affectively blocking access to those sites.

When i installed the Spybot Search & Destroy it added entries to my hosts file. I want to know because he did this.

Hello,
The immunization adds sites to the restricted zones (host file) in order to block them. So the baddies won't get in.
