Hi All,

My machine is completely infested by virtumonde.prx. I do have zonelarampro and symantec antivirus and also tried with spybot S&D. Spybot although detects the virus and removes the dll, it still comes back.

After reading some posts, I installed and ran the malware application, which again did detect and remove some infected files, but was not able to completely remove it.

Also, I whenever I fire up an application or any executable I always get this pop-up window-
The application or DLL c:\windows\system32\zuhezuse.dll is not a valid windows image.

I guess the virus/trojan has infected all the executables and tries to fire up anytime an application is run. I am not sure what the implications of these are and how much I am at risk by being connected to the web.

Make sure you read and follow the directions, anything else will slow the process and waste both of our time. I suggest you keep this computer offline except when troubleshooting, the junk may download more. If you have any tool I use, delete it and download it new from the link I provide. Read and follow the directions carefully, the tools will not work unless you do.
The junk can be tough to remove, so do not expect fast or easy.

This is a free forum staffed by volunteers that is very busy as are all free forums. I suggest you read the directions, you missed at least this one:

Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

Hi,

Thanx for the instructions. I have installed Secunia and updated all the softwares as well as windows.
I still get the same windows error with zuhezuse.dll not being a valid windows image every time I run an application.
