My computer is very slow now and small DOS windows opened up then disappear by itself when i login to windows. Spybot detected virtumonde every time i scanned it.

While best efforts are made to assist in removing infections safely, unexpected stuff can happen.
It is advisable that you back up your personal data before starting any clean up procedure.
Your infected because you where using Cracked, warez or was accessing there sites or forums, using sites and software like that besides being illegal will almost get you 100% infected. You have a real mess going on .
Internet Explorer is needed to run this program properly.
Download: DelDomains (http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/DelDomains.inf) and save it to the desktop.
Close all open windows and your browser
Right Click DelDomains.inf and select > Install
Reboot your computer
Open HijackThis > Do a System Scan Only, close your browser and all open windows including this one, the only program or window you should have open is HijackThis, check the following entries and click on Fix Checked.

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.Your system may start up slower after running ATF Cleaner, this is expected but will be back to normal after the first or second boot up

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.<-- Don't forget this
When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.
The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Copy and Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a New Hijackthis log.
I got this pc from a friend not too long ago so i dont know. You said it has a real mess going on so.. How bad is it? Can you also turn off the programs that start when i login to windows? all i need is my linksys wireless connection program and AVG anti virus. As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. With malware infections being as they are today, it's strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal. It will allow you to boot up into a special recovery/repair mode that will allow us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware.
Follow the prompts to allow ComboFix to download and install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console, and when prompted, agree to the End-User License Agreement to install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console.
**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will continue it's malware removal procedures.

Open Notepad Go to Start> All Programs> Assessories> Notepad ( this will only work with Notepad )and copy all the text inside the Codebox by highlighting it all and pressing CTRL C on your keyboard, then paste it into Notepad, make sure there is no space before and above AWF::

This will start ComboFix again. After reboot, (in case it asks to reboot), post the contents of Combofix.txt in your next reply together with a new HijackThis log.
I uninstalled the Free Video Zilla
by the way i forgot to turn off the AVG when i run the ComboFix with notepad. So let me know if i need to rescan it. i just checked the logs and i saw the program names that i no longer use. for example logmein, motorola etc. Does it matter that it show up on the report or do i need to remove them to speed up the windows. Thanks

Great, there all fixed. In case you where wondering what happened, malware replaced a legit file with an infected one so everytime you ran that program it kept infecting you. What AWF did was to replace the good file from a back up overriding the bad one and then deleted the backup.
Internet Explorer is needed to run this program properly.
Download: DelDomains (http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/DelDomains.inf) and save it to the desktop.
Close all open windows and your browser
Right Click DelDomains.inf and select > Install
Reboot your computer

I re enabled TeaTimer yesterday and few hours later i got this error message. I Can't believe they are still inside my computer. All i did yesterday was downloaded/installed SpywareBlaster, Updated windows update. I did Spybot scan and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Scan and they came out clean. Here is the error messages that TeaTimer gave me.

Save it to your desktop.
Please double-click OTMoveIt3.exe to run it. (Note: If you are running on Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator).
Copy the lines in the codebox below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose Copy):

Thanks for the fast reply... OTMoveIt said file not found. I think i removed the file with TeaTimer when it was detected. maybe thats why. what is that a.exe file anyway?

i currently have AVG, SpywareBlaster, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and spybot.
Do you think it's enough? I think i also have SpywareDoctor but i don't use it for a long time. Do you recommend SpywareDoctor also or should i uninstall it?
Also How do you know SpywareBlaster is runner? For some reason i don't see the icon next to the clock. Is it running in the background?
For everyday browsing should i use internet explorer or firefox. Which one do you recommend?

SpywareBlaster just runs in the background blocking bad sites from installing there garbage, no scan to run but you need to open it every few weeks and check for updates and enable all protection. Right now there are 11,171 bad programs being blocked
See my instructions, Spybot Search and Destroy, this program you can use to scan and remove bad items, it also has an immunize feature that will block bad sites just like SpywareBlaster.
Spyware Doctor is also a good program, run it once a week or so to remove any threats.
I switched to Firefox a few years ago and very rarely use IE, use it for a while and you will see what I mean. Its easier to use, more fun and more secure than IE.
You can drag any of the tools we used to the trash
DelDomains <--- Drag it to the trash
ATF Cleaner <-- Yours to keep, run it now and then to clean out the clutter.
Malwarebytes <-- Yours to keep also, check for updates and run a scan now and then.
Hijackthis <---Your call, hopefully you won't need it again, if you do you can redownload it
Combofix <---Is not a general cleaning tool, just run it with supervision or you can bork your system
Click START then RUN
Now type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK. Note the space between the X and the U, it needs to be there.

Keep in mind if you install some of these programs. Only ONE Anti Virus and only ONE Firewall is recommended, more is overkill and can cause you problems. You can install all the Spyware programs I have listed without any problems. If you install Spyware Blaster, you can still install Spybot Search and Destroy but do not enable the TeaTimer in Spybot.

Check for Updates/ Immunize and run a Full System Scan on a regular basis. If you install Spyware Blaster ( Recommended ) then do not enable the TeaTimer in Spybot Search and Destroy.
Spyware Blaster (http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html) It will prevent most spyware from ever being installed. No scan to run, just update about once a week and enable all protection.
Spyware Guard (http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard.html) It offers realtime protection from spyware installation attempts, again, no scan to run, just install it and let it do its thing.
IE-Spyad (http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,23332-order,1-page,1-c,antispywaretools/description.html)
IE-Spyad places over 6000 web sites and domains in the IE Restricted list which will severely impair attempts to infect your system. It basically prevents any downloads (cookies etc) from the sites listed, although you will still be able to connect to the sites.
Firefox 3 (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/) It has more features and is a lot more secure than IE. It is a very easy and painless download and install, it will no way interfere with IE, you can use them both.

Just install the programs that I posted earlier, they will all help keep you more secure.
You also need to update your Operating System.This to will help keep you more secure. Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools> Windows Updates and go for it, you need to install (SP3) Service Pack 3, there will be updates prior to and after SP3, this will also include installing IE7 which is more secure than IE6.
Just start new topic for your other computer as it could get confusing, I will keep an eye out for it but if I miss it we have a very knowledgeable staff and someone will get it.
