When Spybot finishes scanning, it tells me some files have been changed, like kernal32.dll or something similar. Usually says 5 files have been changed but does not tell me what to do to fix the problem. Any of you geeks out there know the answer to this?
After a Spybot scan has finished, any infections are shown in Red and you should allow Spybot to fix these. (Select all, Fix Selected problems - at the top of the scan results screen). If Spybot is set to scan for usage tracks as well then it will show these in Green, and it's optional whether you have Spybot fix (delete) these.
What you posted doesn't really seem to fit this picture and it may be you are referring to messages from Teatimer rather than a Spybot Scan, so perhaps you can post a screen shot showing the situation.
Also when seeking assistance, it helps if you say what operating system you use, exactly what version of Spybot you are talking about. Other information such as details of your firewall, AV software and any other antispyware products installed, and whether you are using Teatimer or not can also help.
