Pop ups not bloked

I recently started to get lost of pop-ups, so I decided to scan fo spyware , scanned and I chose spybot. I thught everyhing was sorted out, howeve,I still ge pop us, eve though I have selected the high level of security, rsident IE blocks them silently but still allows a blank page to pop up. I have also run the scan on safe mode. I still get it, one thing i have notice in safe mode , I do not get a choice to scan the hard dic only the floppuy disc, one second one that i do not recognis and CD rom. Does this mean that I have been badly infected and there is no alternative other than reboot the computer from new??/ I do hope someone can help.

DSFerraz, your machine is infected. Follow the directions below to get it cleaned out. Don't worry, you don't have to start from scratch yet.
