Is RunAlyzer same as RootAlyzer ?

Hi, I got attacked by a really nasty combined rootkit virus last week and it disabled Spybot S&D, NOD32, and Windows Defender, as well as preventing ComboFix or HijackThis from running too.

I had to reinstall windows and, I wanna learn my lesson from what happened to me.

I want to be protected and I was researching on how to prevent rootkit infections.

I saw that there was a so-called RootAlyzer plugin for Spybot, but the last version was released by march 2008. Its features for what I have seen seem to be preety similar to RunAlyzer.

I am wondering if RunAlyzer is a new name for the former RootAlyzer, or if they are complete different programs.

Sorry if it sounds as a stupid question but i couldnt find anyone wondering about this on the forums.
