Hi there.....can anyone please help me out with a couple of prolems....when I try to run regedit I get the message 'regedit is not a valid Win32 application' and my task manager does not seem to pop up as well.

Welcome

Your running Hijackthis from a temp
Create a new folder, for instance C:\AntiSpyware
Download the exe from here to that new folder.
http://www.merijn.org/files/HijackThis.exe
This is necessary to ensure you have backups should anything go wrong
Make and post a new log

Download and run Look2Me-Destroyer: http://www.atribune.org/content/view/28/
Fallow the instructions on that page, after windows starts again post the tools log.



Make a new folder at this location,
C:\ called "BFU"
Download Brute Force Uninstaller. By Merijn author of Hijackthis.
http://www.merijn.org/files/bfu.zip
Unzip it to it’s own folder (c:\BFU)

Doubleclick on BFU.exe, Click the round green icon (open script URL)
copy then paste in

Press execute and let it do it’s job.

Wait for the complete script execution box to popup and press OK.
If the script is really executed you should have seen a progress bar.
Press exit to exit the BFU program.

Start Hijackthis and place a check next to these items If there.

Hit fix checked and close Hijackthis.
Restart the PC

Do a check for problems with SpyBot, fix anything found.

Manualy delete these folders
C:\PROGRAm files\COMMON files\fwwi <delete folder
C:\WINDOWS\QXNhZCBIdW1heXVu <delete the folder
Optional uninstall limewire and any other filesharring programs.

Why dont we see sings of an antivirus and firewall programs in your logs ?
