Hi there,
My name is Suellen and I have recently downloaded Spybot S&D version 1.6.0.30 on my Mum's laptop computer. It is a Vista system and for the first couple of times it was updating fine, but now when I try to immunise, it comes up with a message "You are missing administrator tights to perform this action. If you need to do this, please run this application elevated as an administrator".
I'm not too bad with understanding terminology, so I am thinking that this relates to having complete 'authority' to change programs and settings on your computer.
We don't have split 'accounts' on Mum's computer, you just log on and it starts, anyone would be able to change things with programs, etc. There are no restrictions at all. Can you please tell me why the immunisation won't work properly now, or how to 'elevate' to administration' rights?
