My computor has been taken over by the stealthSWs114.h!dll trojan. I have read and followed a previous post to the same problem with no results. I ran the ewido, Panda Active scanSmitRem and Ad-Aware.
Here are the files:

Hello.
You posted to your own topic, two posts both here. ;)

Please follow the instructions in this sticky topic to post a HJT log.
BEFORE you post a log, and who will advise you. Preliminary Steps (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)
Someone will then take a look at the system as soon as available and advise you but yes the forum is busy.

If after three days a helper has not responded see this topic:
If you have waited three days for advice post here. (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?p=4836#post4836)

Me again:

Twice now I have tried to download hijackthis.exe. Once at a site from google and once from http://www.merijn.org/files/HijackThis.exe (found in http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288) and both times my McAfee Virus scan has popped up and removed it right away stating it has a virus. McAfee then automatically starts to scan my computor.

The scan turns up nothing.

Disregard Mcafee
By the way what version is it and when was it last updated, I thought they took care of that false positive age's ago
Here's a clip from Merijns web site

May 22, 2005:

McAfee is at is again, unfortunately. Yes, I am aware of the fact that McAfee detects HijackThis 1.99.1 as a generic worm. For the fourth time. Yes, I am aware of the fact that McAfee detects the StartupList standalone as an mhtml exploit webpage. This makes respectively the fifth and sixth time McAfee has mistakenly detected one of my programs as some brand of virus. And I'm getting pretty tired of this. Am I supposed to email each and every new version of a program I publish to McAfee so they can verify that UPX compression does not automatically equal a scary virus??

Hi

We are using a differant tool now
Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.
http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip
Extract all the files to your Destop. A folder named SmitfraudFix will be created on your Desktop.
Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter
This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options until you are asked to do so!

Hi:

Back again. The initial problem of the stealthSWs114.h!dll seems to be resolved thanks to your great help and guidance. You wanted me to update java which I did. I disabled the "update automatically. I tried to delete all but one virus program but I can't seem to delete the F-secure virus program. It says on their support site to do it through add and remove but it is not in the list there. I went to the C:/ProgramFiles and it is there but when I click on anything that says uninstall, nothing happens. There doesn't seem to be any other problems and I am greatful for your help.

Here is a new hijack log I did last night.

Have Hijackthis fix this item
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [navapp] C:\Program Files\NavExcel\NavHelper\v2.0.4d\navapp.exe
==================================
Restart the PC and delete
C:\Program Files\NavExcel < the folder

Ares is mentioned here

Perhaps if you install F-Secure again then its uninstaller will work.
I see Norman is or was installed to, uninstall it also.

Im Glad we could help
Since the problems are solved Im going to close the topic now, this keeps others with similar problems from posting there logs/question here, they should start a new topic.
If you should need to post another log for the same PC let Me or Tashi know.
