SpyBot 1.6 still won't open...

Having lurked around for similar posts I still haven't been able to find a solution.

Simply, any attempt to open Spybot - clicking Icon, or other - the program will not open. From the Start menu I CAN open file shredder, but still not Spybot.

I thought about posting an HTJ log, as there's proably a bunch of crap on my computer now, however I installed the program and it won't open either... not sure what to do at this point.

OS: Windows XP

Hello. Try right-clicking the default desktop icon and rename it.

Yes, I should've mentioned I tried that multiple times with other installations of spybot and it hasn't worked. I tired it a few more times and still no cigar :(

Hm, alright try the solutions mentioned by Spybot Team Member Yodama. It sounds to me your machine is infected...
