Spyware: iworm_attck_v122.02a and W32.Sinnaka.A@mm

[helpmeplease]

I need some help for manually remove the above subject viruses/spyware. My IE homepage pops up to safetydefender.com and I get system Alerts: Spyware Detected that I have a virus called: iworm_attck_v122.02a

You have the Smitfraud trojan and in this case tashi has Pinned instruction there for you. Please follow the instructions exactly, and when you finish, post the logs back here in this same thread. Thanks for returning your information, it looks like the Smitfraud fix and ewido did a great job for you. How is your computer running now?

There are a few other issues to address, and I will number them to stay organized.

1) You are running MSConfig in Selective Startup mode and I must see it in Normal Mode. Something bad may be turned off and I would not know it is there, once you change to Normal Mode and create a log, you can return to Selective Startup without a reboot if you wish.

2) This program: C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe aol installed without your permission or knowledge, please read the informational links and my suggestion would be to use Add Remove programs to uninstall it.

8) If you don't have a good cleaner, use this free one with these instructions:
Download CCleaner from this link: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Review the instructions http://www.ccleaner.com/help/tour1.asp
Run CCleaner, Windows & Applications when you run the registry cleaner (Issues) you will be prompted to backup before you can remove stuff, make sure you do.

Post a last HJT log with MSConfig in Normal Mode, for a final look. Please add your comments and any information I requested. If all is running well for you, I will have some closing information and you will be clean and good to go.
