Install error - code 740

[Paulywog]

I just installed Spybot 1.6, and as it was installing I received the following error message:

Unable to execute file
c:\....\Spybot\SDwinsec.exe
create process failed; code 740
The requested operation requires elevation.

I have Vista.

The install continued despite the error message, seemed successful, and I've actually updated and run Spybot, which fixed all 40 problems it found (all cookies except for one registry problem). I am still concerned about the error message though, and would appreciate hearing from someone who could tell me if there is, in fact, a problem and how to fix it.

Thanks draggostea, will do what that thread suggests. I gather then that there's no need to re-install spybot or anything drastic?

Nothing drastic :bigthumb:. Is Spybot installed already? If not, right-click on the installer file (spybotsd160.exe) and click "Run as Administer".
