We have gotten hit pretty good. Fortunately my son stopped some of it from loading completely by turning off the internet connection during mid stream. Have tried to run Spybot several times and it just can not get rid of it. Also, I made the mistake of clearing the System Restore files before reading your forums. I have Hijack This already installed, but no antivirus software loaded. I used Windows Live One Care, but when we did this, it activated one of the two listed. Where do we go from here and sorry about my lack of knowledge but if we use a flash drive with the infected computer and use it with one that is not, will the malware transfer to the one not infected. Also, we are trying to back up some of our data onto CD's. Can we transfer the infection onto the CD's and cause another computer to be infected?
