I've run Spybot in Safe mode.... was found and removed. I did not re-run Spybot in safe mode. Should I?

It seems a lot better but I still see some links re-directed.

PS - Why doesn't my corporate symantec solution cacth this?

Hello Chris and welcome to the forum. You asked:
PS - Why doesn't my corporate symantec solution cacth this? This is a question you would want to ask Symantec, not a lowly volunteer:scratch: This infection is being called Wareout and it seems you have been hacked by folks in the Ukraine, see this: http://whois.domaintools.com/85.255.113.108
Follow the directions to remove this infection from your computer:

Thanks to LonnyRJones, Swandog46, AutoDad and any others who helped with this fix.

You may want to print out these instructions for reference, since you will have to restart your computer during the fix.

1) Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/lonny/Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, then make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish. The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

At the end of the fix, you may need to restart your computer again.

Finally, please post a fresh HijackThis log, along with the contents of the logfile C:\fixwareout\report.txt
(save the logs until the end please)

2) Now lets check some settings on your system.
(2000/XP) Only
In the windows control panel. If you are using Windows XP's Category View, select the Network and Internet Connections category otherwise double click on Network Connections. Then right click on your default connection, usually local area connection for cable and dsl, and left click on properties. Click the Networking tab. Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the radio dial that says Obtain DNS servers automatically
Press OK twice to get out of the properties screen and reboot if it asks.
That option might not be available on some systems
Next Go start run type cmd and hit OK
type
ipconfig /flushdns
then hit enter, type exit hit enter
(that space between g and / is needed)

(I am not sure how this will effect: Domain = fluidigm.com which I am sure you know what it. It may have to be reset if needed?)

3) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Man, you guys Rock.... Looks like everything is ok. Couple of notes from the instructions:

When I ran Hijackthis in Step 3), 2 items were missing from the list of items to be removed. R0 and O1 were not listed.....

Also, I installed Firefox this morning. What do you guys think of it? Seems like is is getting a lot of good word of mouth and press. Does it avoid things like wareout, etc? I will probably stick with IE but thought I would investigate.

Firefox is a good browser, I have it and rarely use it being hooked on IE, maybe the new IE Beta will be more secure? Firefox has already received hacks, but most hackers go after the numbers which is IE. That is where their bread and butter are. Keep in mind the Ukrainians are in it for the money, not mischief like we used to see.
Firefox will get you infected as fast as IE if you do not keep it secure with updates, and most of all follow good sound online habits.

Your HJT log looks clean of malware, and if all is running normally (or better) you are good to go. Take this information with you.

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
