Reading up on my infection with Smitfraud.C and several flavors of Virtumonde, I see that they are very complicated to get rid of. We've been very careful to keep all our important data backed up, so I'm wondering, would reformating the C: drive and reinstalling to factory settings be sufficient to get rid of them? We've only been backing up our user documents folders from the C drive. I appreciate the help!
