malware prevents access

My wife's computer had spybot 1.5.2 and become infected with virtumonde. I have run 1.5.2, which helped, but cannot access the spybot website or other anti-malware websites. Her computer can access other internet sites. I am running 1.6.0 on this computer, but the malware prevents me from installing it on hers (when it needs to download files).

I appreciate any help you can provide.

You seem a little lost, reporting this topic and sending a HJT log to all Moderators and Administrators.

As you can post from an uninfected machine you should be able to post your log into a new topic here in the Malware Removal Forum
