you should include the alpha testing code into spybot and have the option to download it like the beta code in spybot.

Arguably it would then not be alpha testing.
Alpha Testing is the first stage testing of new products or new additions to existing products and is usually done in house & under the control of the developer, whereas Beta or second stage testing is normally done by a limited number of end users in their own environment.
