HELP -Trojan

Hi,

Apologies if I dont make much sense but unfortunately I dont know a lot about malware etc.

I installed Spybot today after having various problems over the last few days -McAfee notifying me that files were infected with trojan puper, unwanted pop-ups about security updates etc, spam email and being unable to change my IE homepage. I have run the program and fixed all the red alerts that Spybot found. I am hoping it has got rid of the problem but i still cannot change my homepage???

Can anyone suggest what I should be doing to fix this problem?

ok you have and used both mcafee and spybot. good. next step is to read and follow the directions in this link:
