Virtumonde + others [Archive] - Safer-Networking Forums

Okay... I've tried and failed to remove Virtumonde and the other errors that are showing up in spybot. I've removed them and restarted and they keep coming back.

Not sure if it matters or not but I ended up going to a website I had been to before and my computer started moving extremely slow for an extended period of time so I'm pretty sure that's when I got it and I'll be avoiding that site. When whatever happened it seems to have disabled my Norton 360 and I can't seem to get it to run, not sure if fixing these errors will fix that or if I'm going to have to contact Norton for help on that one.

So here goes... This is my first post so hopefully I've done it right. First you will see the Spybot report followed by the HJT report. Please let me know what additional information may be needed. Thanks in advance I really appreciate it.

Open HijackThis > Do a System Scan Only, close your browser and all open windows including this one, the only program or window you should have open is HijackThis, check the following entries and click on Fix Checked.

Close all open windows and your browser
Right Click DelDomains.inf and select > Install
Reboot your computer

Go to your Add Remove Programs in the Control Panel and uninstall Viewpoint, it installs without your knowledge or consent, is considered Adware, uses system resources and is not needed for anything.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Anti-Malware_d5756.html) or Here (http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe)

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.<-- Don't forget this
When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.
The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Copy and Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a New Hijackthis log.

Hi Ken, Thanks for the reply. I totally understand about the delay no worry there.

While I was waiting for a reply from you guys I posted about a different issue on Bleepingcomputer.com and they ended up going down the Malware/Combo Fix route and for the most part my computer seems to be back to normal.

I'm including a new HJT report as there have been a considerable amount of system changes since the one I last posted. If you could review this one and let me know if there's anything that should be done as well as looking it over to see if you see any lasting signs of an infection I'd appreciate it.
