I am trying to turn on the Automatic Upates using Service.msc, but I keep getting the following error:
"Could not start the Automatic Updates service on Local Computer. Error 1058: The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it."
After tinkering with various "solutions" I found scattered around, I have not been able to fix the problem. Additionally, I keep getting pop-ups and all sorts of virus warnings. I do not know much about computers, and I fear I keep making it worse. I really do not want to reformat the entire computer. Can someone help me please!:sad:
