Hi

Go to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis folder and rename HijackThis.exe file there to something.exe. Post a fresh hjt log after renaming is done.

Thanks for the reply. I had someone come and work on the computer. He took it into the shop to clean it.

For curiosity's sake, is the reason you want me to rename the Hijack this .exe file to something else is the malware can hide from hijack this?

is PM private message?

Thanks very much.

Hi

The answer is 'yes' to both your questions :)

Since the shop handles/handled system cleaning we may close the topic here, don't we?
