Sorry i am getting desperate!!
My wifes computer keeps redircting and spybot wont load or update, in fact if you try to download or start any anti spyware programs it would let them load!

It is not a good idea to run more than one real-time anti-spyware shield. Using real-time protection from two or more anti-spyware applications may cause conflicts.
(Windows Defender,Ad-Aware,Search & Destroy are active)
there is nothing wrong in having more than one antispyware programmes for “on demand” scanning
1 - Move HijackThis
You currently are running HijackThis from here:
C:\Documents and Settings\clare louise\Desktop\HiJackThis.exe
Please make a folder here:
c:\HJT
and place HijackThis in that folder.
2 - Scan With ComboFix

Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad

hello
I have uninstalled windows defender and adware - i also did a system restart after this and the laptop "hung" twice, each time i re-started it it loaded a bit further and on the third attempt it loaded up???
I could not download combo-fix onto my wifes laptop as it would not display the inernet page, so i downloaded it onto my laptop and trasfered the file ona SD card to my wifes laptop. However combo-fix would not load - the same thing happens with spybot ie it wount load the icon is there it just wount load!.
i did move HJT to the directory that you wanted however i could not open spybot to turn it off, i have re-ran HJT and the log file is below.

Download Combofix from any of the links below. You must rename it before saving it. Save it to your desktop.

1 - Remove bad HijackThis entries
Run HijackThis
Click on the Scan button
Put a check beside all of the items listed below (if present):

Close all open windows and browsers/email, etc...
Click on the "Fix Checked" button
When completed, close the application.
2 - Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Please download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe) and save it to your desktop.

Double-click on Download_mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
When the installation begins, follow the prompts and do not make any changes to default settings.
When installation has finished, make sure you leave both of these checked:
Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Then click Finish.
MBAM will automatically start and you will be asked to update the program before performing a scan.
If an update is found, the program will automatically update itself.
Press the OK button to close that box and continue.
If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download them from here (http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam/database/mbam-rules.exe) and just double-click on mbam-rules.exe to install.
On the Scanner tab:
Make sure the "Perform full scan" option is selected.
Then click on the Scan button.
If asked to select the drives to scan, leave all the drives selected and click on the Start Scan button
The scan will begin and "Scan in progress" will show at the top. It may take some time to complete so please be patient.
When the scan is finished, a message box will say "The scan completed successfully. Click 'Show Results' to display all objects found".
Click OK to close the message box and continue with the removal process.
Back at the main Scanner screen:
Click on the Show Results button to see a list of any malware that was found.
Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When removal is completed, a log report will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to restart your computer. (see Note below)
The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
The log can also be found here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\mbam-log-date (time).txt
Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply and exit MBAM.
Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.
3 - Run Hijackthis
Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad
4 - Status Check
Please reply with
1. the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Log
2. a fresh HijackThis log

2 - Kaspersky Online Scan
Please go to Kaspersky website (http://www.kaspersky.com/kos/eng/partner/default/kavwebscan.html) and perform an online antivirus scan.
Read through the requirements and privacy statement and click on Accept button.
It will start downloading and installing the scanner and virus definitions. You will be prompted to install an application from Kaspersky. Click Run.
When the downloads have finished, click on Settings.
Make sure these boxes are checked (ticked). If they are not, please tick them and click on the Save button: Spyware, Adware, Dialers, and other potentially dangerous programs
Archives
Mail databases Click on My Computer under Scan.
Once the scan is complete, it will display the results. Click on View Scan Report.
You will see a list of infected items there. Click on Save Report As....
Save this report to a convenient place. Change the Files of type to Text file (.txt) before clicking on the Save button.

Now lets uninstall ComboFix:
