Unwanted 2nd IE pages

On starting IE after a normal shut down and reboot of Windows, as my homepage is loading (BBC news) a second window opens 'behind' the first usually something to do with eurolotto or adult friend finder. I can close them down, but occassionaly they reappear.

I'm running IE 6, with XP home sp2.

I also run McAfee virusscan, privacy firewall, antispy etc

All pop-ups are blocked

Firstly how do I get rid of these extra pages? and how did they get their in the first place?

Any ideas

they can come from alot of places/sources. follow this link about downloading, scanning with HJT. copy/paste the saved HJT log back in your next reply here. we will see what the problem is.
