Strange Files Seen During Scan

I saw several files during a recent Spybot scan that worried me. I belive that they may be problematic for me. Coolwwwsearch, fakealert.mhg and virtumonde.sdn. None of these files were chosen for fixes during the scan. I am using Windows XP SP3. I have downloaded and scanned using MBAM, but no threat was found. Any help will be appreciated.

Your log is clean.


I saw several files during a recent Spybot scan that worried me.
What you saw were probably those names that appear during the scan. Those are items that Spybot can detect. It doesn't mean you have those infections. Final report matters :)


One leftover can be fixed though.

Start hjt, do a system scan, check:

Close browsers and fix checked.
