i have some sort of malware on here

hi everyone, i hope you guys can help me with what's messing up on my computer. There seems to be some sort of spyware thing on here that i cannot get rid of by any regular means, i have tried a lot of different scanner, which i'll list here:

spybot, adaware, ms defender, ewido malware scanner, cwshredder (it found 3 variants here, but it was not the one that was making all this weird stuff happen), and bazooka scanner. It found something with the bazooka scanner called "MediaLoad" but after doing some other stuff, bazooka doesn't detect that anymore. i have no idea if that's it or not.

so, what this thing actually does. I have not been able to make it do anything anywhere other than at myspace.com after logging in. My sister uses myspace all the time, so this is something that obviously worries me, as she's on here all the time. What it does is when you log in it starts loading all these different web sites in the status bar of IE/Netscape/and even Firefox. When you sign out, its even worse, it starts loading a bunch of other websites and then a weird sound file starts to play. once it was a guy talking about a "marketing opportunity" another was a sound of a race car :spider:

so after doing all those scans i cannot make it act up again in Firefox for some reason. This is all well and good, but it still does this stuff while in IE/Netscape meaning its still ON my computer, and that's not good at all.

I do not recommend attempting do-it-yourself using on-line HiJackThis analyzers.


This forum is very busy and I do not know how soon a helper will be able to assist you (especially as it is the weekend) Please be patient and someone will take a look as soon as possible.

oh i know about hijackthis -- i had this problem before. i only use that web site as a reference, and i wouldn't do anything without knowing it was okay to do so.
