Hi. I have been using S&D for some time. I have it set to start automatically at each system startup. I have it set to check for updates at each program start.
I have the option "Close program if everything's O.K." checked.
So my plan was S&D launches when I logon to Windows. It checks for updates. It does not scan. But it just closes as soon as the updates are completed.
It worked that way for the past year or two. But this week it is not closing after checking for updates. It stays open.
I realize this makes sense because it has not actually scanned anything, so it doesn't know that "everything's O.K."
But there doesn't seem to be an option to check for updates only. That's what I would like it to do... update itself at system startup and then go away. I don't want to do a scan at system startup because it takes way too long.
