Spybot is finding Virtumonde; Virtumonde.generic; virtumonde.sci; smithfraud-c

They don't seem to want to go away. Any help is much appreciated.

Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.

Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

I apologize for the wait, volunteers are swamped at all forums with infected computers. If you have resolved your issues, please post to let me know so I can close this topic.

If you still need help, and you have read and followed the "Before you Post" directions, post a new HJT log since it has been five days, and I will take a look, please describe any recent symptoms.

Don't know if I can help you or not, in order to find out you will need to do this.

1) Waste of your time and mine if you are going to take the computer online without security. You have no antivirus program running? Unless you have a plan, here are three good free programs to choose from, install ONLY ONE. Then update and scan this system.

2) Since TeaTimer is running in this HJT log, that indicates the directions were likely not read. Read the directions and disable TeaTimer as instructed.

3) System Configuration Utility (MSConfig) is running in Selective Startup mode. I need to see the NEXT HJT log you post with it running in Normal Mode. You may create the log then return to SS if you wish without a reboot to save your resources.

If you can do that, I can look at the new HJT log you post to see if I can help you.
