Need help cannot get SpyBot installed

I get the following error when I try to install spybot

Unable to execute file:
C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Spybot.exe

CreateProcess failed; code 103.
%1 is not a valid Win32 application.

I know my machine is infected but I am trying to get the issues resolved....hopefully with this software if I can get it installed and working.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Spybot.exe is not one of Spybot - Search & Destroy programs. The main executable is SpybotSD.exe.

Your machine is infected because some malware is blocking the execution of Spybot-Search&Destroy.

You can always get it cleaned out at the Malware Removal Forums if you wish.

First, I think you might want to visit the malware removal forums (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) and get your system cleaned and/or looked at. The reason i am telling you to do this is because you stated you were infected. If normal scans of antivirus and other antispyware software (ether in safe mode and regular mode) still does not detect the threat(s) or remove them, post in the malware removal forums.
