A Virus Is Contolling My Computer

well one day i was on the Internet just checking emails and then i loaded up my Ares Destiny Music Downloader as usual...and after a couple of minutes suddenly my computer had gotten slower and froze up...i tried to click and then i got and error but i don't know what it was when i restarted it....it was slow at loading to the logon screen...and when i logon is takes forever to load...and when i finally get on there....there is only my wallpaper and nothing else...then my taskbar bar and desktop icons would appear then disappear it would do this for a while then disappear for good.....i tried to restore it but there are no valid restore points...except for that day when it started to mess up...i don't know whats going on...it does the same in safe mode and all accounts. everything looks normal there are no other processes running that seem unusual....explore.exe is running but taskbar still appears and disappears, sometimes when it disappears everything else disappears with it, like Internet explorer or any other program that im using...i have to use task manager to open programs....i have tried every single option and nothing seems to work. can you help me please!!!!!

I will be giving you a series of instructions that need to be followed in the order in which I give them to you.

If you follow these instructions, everything should go smoothly.

1- Rename Hijackthis

Rename HijackThis.exe to tay019.exe by doing the following;

Navigate here using Windows Explorer (windows button + E) or My Computer -> Local Disk C: -> C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis
Right-click on the HijackThis.exe
Choose from the pull-down menu; "Rename"
And now Rename HijackThis.exe to tay019.exe
Now right click on the renamed hijackthis and click Send to... and then Desktop (create shortcut)...
Now go to your desktop and delete the old shortcut called "Hijackthis" Make sure you keep the one called tay019.exe
Now double click the new shortcut.
Take a fresh HijackThis log (click Do a system scan and save a log file)
Post the fresh HijackThis log here.
