MSBlaster Worm, Antivirus 2009 virus. [Archive]

Hello, recently about a week ago, i was watching movies online, where i must have gotten a bad video codec, because i have contracted tha Antivirus 2009, rouge software virus, along with the MSBlast worm. i have somewhat figured out on my own how to disable them, i delete them from registry, and delete their .Exe and .Dll files, usually works, sometimes it doesn't let me. because i haven't disabled their process in task manager, but every time i reboot computer, they reappear.

and- the MSBlaster worm. i know what it does, it uses RCP to execute a script, that prompts me to turn off the computer, well, actually tries to force me to. i disable the script with 'Shutdown -A' in the RUN interface, but it's Getting Tiresome, and i want it gone, could you please help me?

Also, there is Traces of Virtumonde which i have disabled, but cannot remove from my computer.

Hi

You seem to have both Norton Antivirus and AVG 8 installed there. It's recommended to have only one antivirus program installed. Decide which one to keep and uninstall not needed one. Also, you need to have a firewall running if your system isn't behind a router with NAT. Please enable Windows firewall if you don't have other firewall running (seems like you don't).

To enable Windows Firewall, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, click Run, type Firewall.cpl, and then click OK.
2. On the General tab, click On (recommended).
3. Click OK.

Disable Spybot's TeaTimer to make sure it won't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode
If it is not already set to do this, go to the Mode menu
select
Advanced Mode

On the left hand side, click on Tools
Then click on the Resident icon in the list
Uncheck
Resident TeaTimer
and OK any prompts.
Restart your computer

Download ResetTeaTimer.bat to the Desktop (right click the link and select save)

Double click ResetTeaTimer.bat to remove all entries set by TeaTimer (and preventing TeaTimer to restore them upon reactivation).

When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.
