This has got to be one of the biggest shames ever that a simple company that wanted to help people out by sending opt out emails on there behave to spammers has had to shut down for fear of bringing massive parts of the net down if the spammers continued there DDOS attack against them. I personally only heard about this company when it was being publicised that they were under attack and decided to sign up to help reduce the amount of spam I received but now it seems that the spammers have won and will fill confident in flooding everyone's email inbox's with more spam than ever. I personally believe that they should keep going and bring down a large section of the net when the spammers continue their DDOS attack that way governments, users and business will see that these thugs have far to much free rein and band together and put and end to this rubbish once and for all.

Hi there.
This is a sub-forum under the General Malware forum where members cannot edit.

Wouldn't want a post changed by a malware victim after a helper has responded with advice based on original post.

I have changed the permission for the Alerts sub-forum so members may edit their own posts.

Cheers. :)

Edit:
Sorry, I removed permissions to edit; someone edited their original post in another topic after others had already responded.

This black frog seem to be a much more sinister operation then blue frog as I get the feeling they are planning everything so that they can cause trouble and get away with it. None the less I will be checking them out to see what is what.

The successor to Blue Security
( the BlackFrog group has joined forces with Okopipi)

What is Okopipi?

Okopipi is the successor to Blue Security's Blue Frog project. This project aims to become a distributed replacement of anti-spam software Blue Frog, which does not depend on a centralized server. It will be based on a P2P network (the "frognet"). On failure to connect it could still opt out given e-mail addresses. The project is currently in the design phase.

Hi! from zulu2Ed, I agree with you about having groups get together to put a crimp into spammer's tubing, but please not the government, otherwise you're right on the money. Take Care
