Does the Spybot labs have only Human Virus analysts? Are there any automatic machine virus analysts? May I know the reason for weekly updates? Do you higher any special malware submitter?
Most samples run through a series of automated tests first, where they get scanned, compared to others, cut into parts, and a bunch of other tasks. Even in winter, we usually don't need any radiators, machines all vor the place processing something provide sufficient "heating" ;)
Weekly updates are... probably tradition ;) We like to test updates on a bunch of inhouse machines in addition to the automated tests, and that testing costs some time.
