Spybot does not start

I was running Spybot 1.5 until a couple of days ago when it does not run anymore. No Spybot window is opened even though a spybot process is added to the task manager. Running individual utilities such as update, etc. appears to be ok.

I uninstall it and install the latest 1.6.2. I still have exactly the same problem - no window, has new process and can run utilities. Below is the HJT log. I believe at least the "rosqxvmn.dll" entry is bad but I don't know the proper way to remove it completely - these things tend to regenerate! I am hoping someone can previde some insight as to the problem. Any help would be much appreciated as I really want to keep using Spybot - it is one of the best spyware remover.

Hi,


Disable Spybot's TeaTimer to make sure it won't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode
If it is not already set to do this, go to the Mode menu
select
Advanced Mode

On the left hand side, click on Tools
Then click on the Resident icon in the list
Uncheck
Resident TeaTimer
and OK any prompts.
Restart your computer

Download ResetTeaTimer.bat to the Desktop (right click the link and select save)

Double click ResetTeaTimer.bat to remove all entries set by TeaTimer (and preventing TeaTimer to restore them upon reactivation).

When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.
