Cannot not download

Hello, I am new here and I hope I am in the right forum. I cannot download adobe flash. Every time I try and download it, it says that I have to close firefox. Put when I do close firefox I lose the download. Then when I try and download adobe flash in Internet explorer it says the same thing. I have to close firefox first.:hair::hair: Please help

rather than installing it from a web page prompt, visit the Adobe web site to download and install. Save the download somewhere, close your browser and double click the saved .exe
