I am having some issues with my computer. Spybot lists all of the usual suspects...virtumonde, zlob, smithfraud... Please help. I've already backed up with ERUNT and the hjt log is pasted.
P.S. my initial post from yesterday seems to have dissappeared. I had 2, but one of them had the combofix listing. I attached that by accident. I don't know what happened to my other post. Sorry.

Combofix is a very powerful tool and should only be run under the direction of a helper, this forum, myself and sUbs will not be responsible if you damage your system running this tool on your own.
Drag Combofix to the trash and grab a new copy here.

The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.

Everything looks fine Malwarewise, :bigthumb: just some clean up to do.
Keep in mind so there is no confusion in the future. ( lets hope you don't need to post back ) but if you do, just start a new topic , post your HJT log and a brief explanation of your problem. If you bump or reply to your own topic it removes you from the Zero Replies that our helpers look for to work logs and you will be passed over. Just post your log and if no reply in 4 days or so than post in the Waiting Room, thats where most of us look first to help people. These forums unless your used to them can be quite confusing but I think you learned something from this experience. Your Java is outdated and outdated versions let these type of infections onto your system, we need to update it.
Download the latest version Here (http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp) save it, do not install it yet.
JRE 6 Update 12 <--This is what you need
Go to your Add Remove Programs in the Control Panel and uninstall any previous versions of Java
Reboot your computer
Install the latest version

ATF Cleaner <-- Yours to keep, run it now and then to clean out the clutter.
Malwarebytes <-- Yours to keep also, check for updates and run a scan now and then.
Combofix <---Is not a general cleaning tool, just run it with supervision or you can bork your system
Click START then RUN
Now type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK. Note the space between the X and the U, it needs to be there.

Keep in mind if you install some of these programs. Only ONE Anti Virus and only ONE Firewall is recommended, more is overkill and can cause you problems. You can install all the Spyware programs I have listed without any problems. If you install Spyware Blaster and Spyware Guard, they will conflict with the TeaTimer in Spybot , you can still install Spybot Search and Destroy but do not enable the TeaTimer .

Spyware Guard (http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard.html) It offers realtime protection from spyware installation attempts, again, no scan to run, just install it and let it do its thing.

IE-Spyad places over 6000 web sites and domains in the IE Restricted list which will severely impair attempts to infect your system. It basically prevents any downloads (cookies etc) from the sites listed, although you will still be able to connect to the sites.
Firefox 3 (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/) It has more features and is a lot more secure than IE. It is a very easy and painless download and install, it will no way interfere with IE, you can use them both.

I did everything already, but, do I still need the symantec anti-virus or do I just disable it. It seems to come on automatically when I restart my computer. Also, I already have Spybot-Search and Destroy. Is that all I need or do I need to go back to your list and download one of those? Okay, so that was 2 questions,...sorry.

Hi Anna,
You have Symantec installed, thats all you need for Anti Virus, just keep it updated and run a scan once a week. You do not need to install any more Anti Virus programs, more than one is overkill and will actually slow your system down, but you can install all the Anti Spyware tools I listed, installing those are fine
As far as Spybot Search and Destroy, open it up and go to Help> About and make sure its version 1.6.2, if not then you need to update it.
If you need help with that, you can post in our Spybot forum, these people know this program inside and out and can help you configure it.
