I have windows xp 1 on a gateway computer. When I complete the scan it gives me the following messages:

The spybot version is the one above.

Microsoft windows security center.antivirus override
Microsoft windows security center.firewall override
Microsoft windows security center. SP2u update
Microsoft windows security center_disabled.


They have check marks on the side of these entries. Does anyone know what these mean? Do I delete them or leave them alone?

Why have you not upgraded to Windows XP SP2 (SP3 would be better, but SP2 is barely minimum now) yet? Service Pack 1 for Windows XP is no longer support, which is not good.

The entries you list below only have check marks if you decided to fix them. Right now I'm assuming you've fixed them already.

I'm not so sure about the overrride entries because Windows Security Center was not introduced until Service Pack 2.

At the moment I would suggest (if someone has something better, please do) you upgrade to SP2 at least and then run the scan again.
