View Full Version : Unbelievably bad malware
For three days I have been battling at least 5 of the known problems I have seen reported on this site...
- "Command Service" was first and apparantly let all his buddies in too
-"Booked Space" was next
- Something called "7FaSSt"
-Look2Me
- Search Click Ad's
It's a mess. What I have done so far is to download ren-cmdservice which seems to work until I restart ( CMD Service comes back ). I downloaded HJT and X-cleaner and updated my Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D as well as my Corporate Edition Norton from Symantec. As we speak there is an immovable pop-up on my desktop that I cant close and they keep poppping up all the time. This is a real mess. My first question before I post a HJT log is that most of these spyware programs run at start up and say they are deleting or rmeoving any of the above mentioned viruses ( and a few others ) ... so should I shut them down and then post the HJT log to get whats truly on here and be better able to face it from there? Or let them all run and clean things up first (supposedly) and then show you the logs? Please help....I'm actually taking the day off work tommorrow to address this issue. It's that serious... thank you very very much in advance...

Welcome, yes set them to not start with windows in there options then restart your pc , make and post a hijackthis log.

Thank you so much for your help once again... This is the HJT log as quickly as I could get it recorded before things started going nuts.

Your antivirus might delete when you get close to them, thats fine.
Clear temps with a program such as System Security Suite.
http://www.igorshpak.net/
Extract it from the zip file and run setup.exe
after the install you can delete setup.exe and the downloaded zip file
Start the program Check all the boxes under the 'Items to Clear' (except perhaps cookies) tab and click
'Clear Selected Items'. You will be prompted to reboot, do so.
Post a fresh hijackthis log please, be sure to mention any current problems.

after the reboot post another hijackthis log
Everything I have downloaded for protection and cleaning has been something recommended from this forum. Is there a possiblitly that the one thing I did download NOT mentioned here ( X-cleaner from facetime ) is perhaps causing these to reappear after follwing the instructions you posted? It seems I simply cannot get rid of those BHO's on the HJT. Even when I do it and hit fix check and then run another scan they are still there. I feel we are making progress and I believe we killed the spybot worm but perhaps did these programs turn something off in my windows firewall? Or delete and update? I'm confused as to why they still appear with 5 anti-spyware programs cleaning and destroying.
heres the the latest HJT log:

I dont see x-cleaner on any rouge lists, It could be cousing use problems though, Uninstall it for now and reboot,
I'm confused as to why they still appear with 5 anti-spyware programs cleaning and destroying
What are the other four and why are you running them while we are in the process of fixing ? dont unless mentioned for now.
