I'm Smokex from pantheraproject.net, the home of the official Shareaza. As you may know, our official website was hijacked last year by a company known as Discordia, a.k.a. MusicLab LLC. They have been distributing packaged spyware using fake versions of several P2P applications by re-branding iMesh code that they aquired rights to. They are also distributing viruses on many P2P networks (G1, G2, eD2k) from several IP addresses. Their installer overwrites our official software directories and registry keys, and they hijacked our update mechanism last year when they took our website.
The point of all this is that over the last year, security experts with the Shareaza team have been compiling a list of Discordia's fake websites and we would like Spybot Search & Destroy to add this to its blocked host list and immunization. Also, you may find some spyware programs bundled with their installers which you haven't run across yet. They release new spyware with every release of their fraud software.
