When I click on the home page sub item on the drop down Help menu, nothing happens. When I place the cursor on the menu bar it disappears and task manager says the program is not responding. All the other items, help, tutorial etc all work fine. In fact if I click on index for example, exit that and then click on home page, Firefox activates and takes me to your home page as normal.
HISTORY: I updated yesterday morning(thursday) and received the upgrade, which I then installed over the previous version. I found 2 glitches including the above. Assuming the download files were corrupted, I uninstalled SS&D, using all the steps in the Help file uninstall FAQ, and then re-booted, and downloaded again and did a clean install.
Unfortunately, the Help menu glitch is still with me. Everything else seems fine. The only recent change to my system was the regular MS updates a couple of days previous.
This is a minor glitch, and I hope that I am not wasting your time.
System:
XP Pro SP 3 plus firewall
AVG 8.0.237
Firefox 3.0.6
