Hi i have just downloaded version 1.6.2.46 having had the older version . I have done a scan with the result of about two hundred similar messages titled "error during check" . Preceeding each message is a red circle with a white cross inside. At the end of the scan it says congratulations no problems found . Can anybody help and let me know what these messages are about . Thanks
There're some possible problems with Spybot-S&D on upgrading from older version to new one. If you have downloaded setup file from download mirrors (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html), then you should uninstall old version of Spybot-S&D and then install a new version.
Most of users have some problems while upgrading from old to new one without uninstalling the old one.
If you have downloaded setup from Spybot-S&D Updater, then you don't have to uninstall the old version.
