cannot uninstall missing unins001.msg

my spybot S&D tried to udate me to latest version. Almost at the end I received error message "Acess Denied" to Uninstall and it reverted back to pre-update. I tried to uninstall my existing version through "Control Panel" Windows removal and received error message "missing unins001.msg". My OS is XP Home SP2.

you can try reinstalling your older version (to replace the missing uninstall file) and then uninstall again.
