Opera, Spybot and Cookies

I installed the new version of Spybot, immunized, and now my cookies are gone for password protected sites that I used to be able to get into without re-entering passwords.

Using Opera 9.63 on Vista

Why did this happen and how do I prevent it from happening again, thanks
