I am attempting to create a script to uninstall an old version and install the most updated version of Spybot. Here is my situation:
Uninstalling Spybot 1.4 or earlier and installing Spybot 1.6.2 is successful w/out reboot and all silent.
Uninstalling Spybot 1.5 or greater and installilng Spybot 1.6.2 is successful except that the system reboots itself.
Yes, I have tried the /norestart and the played w/ the /restartexitcode=N switch.
I'm looking for proper registry cleanup to avoid a reboot to the machine since i have that for versions 1.4 and earlier. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
