PC infected after doing a google search and visiting a Web site

It appears that I have contracted a virus on my desktop PC. It occurred right after I did a google search and visited a Web site. I have Spybot always running with Tea Timer and it stated something about TWEX.EXE being loaded. Fortunately, Spybot allowed me to keep the infection out of the registry. I am currently unable to run MalwareBytes, a full Spybot scan or ComboFix, as it seems as though these programs are being prevented from even starting. Also, when trying to access safernetworking.org via my IE browser, I am redirected to another site. I was able to produce a HiJackThis log listed below. Please review and let me know what I might do to alleviate this pest.

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/dds) or here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.scr) or here (http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/dds).
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
DDS.txt
Attach.txt

Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.

Blade81, thanks for your reply. I would love to run DDS.SCR, however, my machine will not allow it. When I boot the machine up, it goes into Windows XP and then displays a message; winlogon.exe - corrupt file; below that it states The file or directory \WINDOWS is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility. When I click OK in the block below the messages a couple of times, all I get is a blue screen and the machine hangs. If I start the Windows XP up in safe mode and it also hangs there, too. Any other ideas as to how to rid myself of this pest?

In that case XP repair install (http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm) is needed (please see the link for instructions). You'll need XP media to do it.
