Hello and Welcome to Safer Networking,

My name is peku006 and I will be helping you to remove any infection(s) that you may have.
I will be giving you a series of instructions that need to be followed in the order in which I give them to you.

Please observe these rules while we work:

If you don't know, stop and ask! Don't keep going on.
Please reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.
Please continue to respond until I give you the "All Clear"

If you follow these instructions, everything should go smoothly.

I'm not seeing anything malicious in your HJT log. Let's run a couple of scans and see what we find.

1 - Download and Run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Please download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe) and save it to your desktop.
alternate download link 1 (http://malwarebytes.gt500.org/mbam-setup.exe)
alternate download link 2 (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Anti-Malware_d5756.html)

Double-click on Download_mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
When the installation begins, follow the prompts and do not make any changes to default settings.
When installation has finished, make sure you leave both of these checked:
Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Then click Finish.
MBAM will automatically start and you will be asked to update the program before performing a scan.
If an update is found, the program will automatically update itself.
Press the OK button to close that box and continue.
If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download them from here (http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam/database/mbam-rules.exe) and just double-click on mbam-rules.exe to install.
On the Scanner tab:

Make sure the "Perform full scan" option is selected.
Then click on the Scan button.
If asked to select the drives to scan, leave all the drives selected and click on the Start Scan button
The scan will begin and "Scan in progress" will show at the top. It may take some time to complete so please be patient.
When the scan is finished, a message box will say "The scan completed successfully. Click 'Show Results' to display all objects found".
Click OK to close the message box and continue with the removal process.
Back at the main Scanner screen:

Click on the Show Results button to see a list of any malware that was found.
Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When removal is completed, a log report will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to restart your computer. (see Note below)
The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
The log can also be found here:

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\mbam-log-date (time).txt
Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply and exit MBAM.

Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.

2 - download and run RSIT

Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here (http://images.malwareremoval.com/random/RSIT.exe) and save it to your desktop.
Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt<- (will be maximized) and info.txt<- (will be minimized)

3 - Status Check
Please reply with

1.the logs from RSIT (log.txt ,info.txt)
2. the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Log
description of any problems you are having with your PC

Thanks peku006

Hi Matt

There's some malware in your Java cache so lets clear it.
Please empty the entire contents of these folders:(not the folder itself, but all in it)
C:\Users\Cheese\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0

next....

Press Start
Go to Control Panel
Click Java
Under Temporary Internet Files click Settings...
Now click Delete files...
Select both options and click OK
The temporary files will now be deleted.
When done click OK twice and close Control Panel

Do you have the internet connection problem still

Thanks peku006

Yes, I am still losing my internet connection. Also, the computer will not shut down properly when I reboot.

Hi Matt
you have a problem with your Tcpip.sys....

Security event log

Computer Name: Cheese-PC
Event Code: 5038
Message: Code integrity determined that the image hash of a file is not valid. The file could be corrupt due to unauthorized modification or the invalid hash could indicate a potential disk device error.

File Name: \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Windows\System32\drivers\tcpip.sys
Record Number: 41103
Source Name: Microsoft-Windows-Security-Auditing
Time Written: 20090225125034.430241-000
Event Type: Audit Failure
This doesn't sound like malicious software, more like a hardware/software technical issue, which I ma not trained to deal with.
I recommend you go to one of the following forums for expert assistance:

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate. Do you think it would be better for me to get the Kaspersky Anti-virus or do you think I'm ok with AVG? It didn't catch that last infection at all.

Matt

Hi Matt

Kaspersky is a good program but it´s not free.......and I can not say whether it is better or worse than AVG

Read some information here (http://users.telenet.be/bluepatchy/miekiemoes/prevention.html) how to prevent Malware.

here a couple of test pages
AV-Test.org (http://www.av-test.org/)
av-comparatives.org (http://www.av-comparatives.org/)
