Need Major Help Please

Hello,
My younger brother's laptop seems to be heavily infected with a combination of malware,spyware and viruses. I have attempted repeatedly to download spybot on to his laptop, but can not seem to do so.
I have been able to get to the download, but before the file will start to download, a pop up comes up and states "Error sending request, A connection with the server could not be established".
Also, when I search on any search engine for spybot, or AVG virus protection or any other application I have been recommended to use through my past posts, when I click on the link from the search engine, it re-directs me to another website, mostly to an ad for stopzilla and other sites.
I have no idea how to go about fixing his computer.
Any ideas?

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/dds) or here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.scr) or here (http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/dds).
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
DDS.txt
Attach.txt

Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.
