Hi, first post.

When logging into online banking I received a message from my bank to download Rapport to aid security. During installation the spybot resident shield flagged it as malware and deleted the process.

I terminated the installation and deleted it from my pc, but can you confirm or otherwise that this software is dangerous, or is it a false alarm?

Thankyou.

hello,

I cannot confirm that Rapport gets detected as Malware by the Teatimer (Spybot S&D Resident).
However Rapport adds itself to the system start during installation, Teatimer detects this and asks if this is ok. Since Rapport does not appear to be dangerous and is supposed to help you secure your online banking you should should choose to allow it.

Hi,

It did actually say something to the effect of it had detected malware and stopped the process, sorry I should have written it down exactly.

I disabled teatimer and installed it, then rebooted and teatimer doesn't seem to have detected anything since, so hopefully it will be ok.

Thanks for your help.
