Install Messages: Need to change Read Only Files to Readable and Error Message 5?

Hi,

I'm using Windows XP and was able to download the updated immunizations but when I try to install the v1.6.2 update, the following happens:

I get three error messages in a row for files that say similar to "The such and such file is marked as read-only. Click continue to change to read and continue update."

When it reaches a certain point I then get an error message 5.

Does anyone know what all this means or why this is happening or what I should do?

Also, when I run a scan it starts but then nothing seems to happen.

Hi tjrasa,

theese three files are protected from Spybot against Malware/changes. You can overwrite theese files.

If you can't do this anymore, I have the following recommendation for you:

Please un-install Spybot 1.6.0 completely from your computer. After that, reboot your computer and install Spybot 1.6.2.46. You can download it from here.
